Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) generally refers to a group of wrought high conductivity copper alloys that have been electrolytically refined to reduce the level of oxygen to .001% or below.OF/OFE grade copper is used in plasma deposition processes aka sputtering, semiconductor manufacturing, super conductor components and high vacuum devices such particle accelerators.
